Peugeot 301 Charge Air Temperature Sensor Issue

I didn't see any temperature changes on the gauge, but I didn't check the air intake before the error. What exactly happened with your 301? Any details would help.

For me, the whistling and power loss came and went at first. The check engine light came on after a few weeks. It was a bad connection to the charge air temperature sensor, just like you're thinking. I'd suggest taking it to a good workshop to check. They'll probably agree with your diagnosis and fix it fast.

Thanks for the help. Hearing that you had the same issue with the charge air temperature sensor really helped. I took it to a workshop, and they found a bad cable connection to the sensor. They fixed it quickly, and it cost 95€. The engine runs great now, no noises or power loss. Thanks again!

I've had something similar with my Peugeot 301. I also heard a whistling noise when accelerating, but my mechanic couldn't find it right away. Did your temperature gauge fluctuate, or did you have air intake issues before the error code?
