Peugeot 301 Charge Air Temperature Sensor Issue

I've had something similar with my Peugeot 301. I also heard a whistling noise when accelerating, but my mechanic couldn't find it right away. Did your temperature gauge fluctuate, or did you have air intake issues before the error code?

For me, the whistling and power loss came and went at first. The check engine light came on after a few weeks. It was a bad connection to the charge air temperature sensor, just like you're thinking.
