Fuses seem okay. Where was the problem with your Astra?

Well, with my Astra, I never managed to fix it myself. After checking the fuses and connections, I gave up and took it to a workshop. They replaced a faulty connector. If you are not very familiar with electrical stuff, I would recommend you to do the same to avoid further damage.

Okay, thanks. I took it to a workshop as you suggested. They found a defective connector as well and replaced it. Cost me 95€.

Hmm, sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my 2018 Opel Astra. The 'electric steering column adjustment' allows you to adjust the steering wheel's position for comfort. In my case, the error message kept popping up, and then one day, it just stopped adjusting altogether. First thing I'd check are the fuses - a blown fuse can cause electrical components to fail. The fuse box location should be in your owner's manual.
