Peugeot 301 Fault Memory Lock Active

I'm at my wit's end! Got a 2020 Peugeot 301, diesel engine, and this darn 'fault memory lock active' message keeps popping up. Mileage is sitting at 230346 km. All it says is there's an error stored in the error memory, which is super helpful, right? I'm thinking it might be electrical gremlins or something. Anyone else seen this on their Peugeot?

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Peugeot 301 owner is experiencing a persistent 'fault memory lock active' message, indicating an error stored in the vehicle's memory. The issue is suspected to be related to electrical problems, specifically undervoltage. Another individual with a similar experience suggests checking the battery, as undervoltage was the cause in their case. The original problem was resolved by visiting a workshop, where the fault was confirmed and cleared.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I had something similar on my 301. Could be undervoltage. Have you checked the battery?

Undervoltage, huh? Interesting. How did you figure that out? Did it cause any other issues, or just the memory lock thing?

Just the memory lock, but it kept coming back. Eventually, I had to take it to a workshop. They confirmed it was due to undervoltage and cleared the fault.

Okay, thanks a bunch! Seems like a trip to the shop is in order. I had the issue diagnosed, the undervoltage was indeed the culprit. Cost me 240€ to get it sorted. Appreciate the help!
