Peugeot 301 fuel flap issue

Thanks for the quick reply! The key fob button does nothing, unfortunately. And yeah, the 'some functions' bit is vague, I know. Basically, the central locking acts weird sometimes, and I think it's related. What exactly was the problem with your 301? Was it the lock actuator?

Confirmed. Based on your description and my experience, I strongly suspect it's the lock actuator or the linkage, as you mentioned. Considering you've already checked the key fob and are experiencing other electrical issues, it's beyond a simple DIY fix. You will need to get it to a workshop and have them diagnose it properly. I had to get mine replaced, and it wasn't cheap.

Thanks a lot for the insight! I suspected it was going to be a trip to the workshop. I went to the garage, and you were right; it was the lock actuator. 210€ later, and it's all sorted. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Peugeot 301 (don't remember the year). From what you're describing, it sounds like a problem with the release mechanism for the fuel filler. Did you try checking the key fob? Some models have a dedicated button for the fuel flap. Also, can you provide more detail about 'some functions of the vehicle are not available'? Which functions precisely?
