Peugeot 301 Fuel Level Sensor Fault

My 2019 Peugeot 301 diesel has a check engine light and occasionally stalls at idle. Error memory shows a fuel level sensor fault. I've checked for loose connections. Could it be a defective fuse for this circuit, if there is one?

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues with my old Opel Corsa. Not sure about the fuse, but did you check the car dashboard if the fuel level reading is erratic, or completely off?

Yes, I forgot to mention. The fuel gauge seems OK. That's why I'm not sure if it's the level sensor itself, or something else in the fuel system or car electronics causing the error.

Ah, got it. My fuel gauge was also OK. It eventually turned out to be a faulty sensor. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. I got it sorted. It was indeed a faulty fuel level sensor. The car workshop charged me 52€ for the replacement. All good now!
