Thanks for the tip! That's exactly what I was suspecting. Where exactly was the connector located on your Audi? Was it easy to get to, or did you have to dismantle half the car to reach it? Any tricks for cleaning it up if it is corroded?

On the Audi, it was tucked up behind the front bumper, on the driver's side. You had to remove the wheel arch liner to get proper access. I would strongly recommend you to have a workshop take a look at it if you aren't comfortable with this. I ended up getting it fixed for 95€ at my local garage, since I didn't have the correct tools to reach it.

You're a legend! I owe you a beer. I checked the connection today as you said. The cable was corroded and the connector was loose. Cleaned it up, reseated it, and the whole system sprung back to life. I think I'll still go to a workshop and have them take a look at it. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

I had a similar experience with my old Audi A6 Allroad. The symptoms you're describing – leaning, error messages, and the suspension refusing to lift – sound very familiar. On the Audi, the problem turned out to be a corroded connector on the air compressor itself. The system couldn't get a good reading, so it just shut down. Have you checked the cable and plug connection of the compressor for any signs of damage or corrosion?
