Peugeot 307 AUC Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
The conversation centers on a suspected AUC sensor fault in a 2003 Peugeot 307 diesel, which is affecting the blower motor, rendering it non-functional. Initial checks showed no visible damage to the cable and plug. Suggestions included checking the fuses related to the blower motor and AUC sensor, as a blown fuse or a faulty air conditioning sensor could cause the issue. Ultimately, a workshop confirmed the AUC sensor was defective, and the cable and plug were also faulty, leading to a repair.

Which fuses are linked to the blower motor and AUC sensor? Could a bad air conditioning sensor cause this?

When my blower died, I was told a bad air conditioning sensor could cause complete failure. Fuse numbers vary, check your manual, but look at 'ventilation' or 'air conditioning' fuses. Since you checked connections and fuses, get it diagnosed.

Had similar AUC issue with my BMW – Automatic Air Recirculation. Air conditioning sensor was checked too. Symptoms were different, but the blower motor issue makes me think of it. Did you check the fuses for the blower and AUC sensor? Could be a blown fuse.
