Summary of the thread
A 2008 Peugeot 307 is experiencing significant battery drain, leading to error messages, weak lights, and starting difficulties. The issue may be linked to a defective battery sensor or parasitic drain. The battery is relatively new, only about a year old. How did you figure out what was causing the battery drain in your 307?

Well, in my case, I ended up taking it to a workshop. It turned out it was a faulty sensor that was constantly drawing power, even when the car was off. It cost me around 315€ in the end, but it fixed the problem.

Thanks for the info! I think I'll take mine to a workshop as well. Your experience confirms my suspicions. Knowing the eventual repair cost helps too; appreciate you sharing your similar experience!

I had something similar happen with my Peugeot 307. Is the car battery old? Have you load tested the vehicle battery or checked for parasitic battery drain, that would be my first guess. If you had battery drain, it might also indicate a problem with battery charging. Just thinking aloud...
