Peugeot 307 brake pedal vibration
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Peugeot 307 owner experienced a vibrating brake pedal and suspected worn brake rotors or calipers as potential causes. Another person suggested that the issue might be due to undervoltage affecting the vehicle's electrical system, particularly the sensors controlling the ABS and braking distribution. After checking, it was confirmed that an electrical issue was indeed causing the problem, and once repaired, the brake pedal returned to normal.

Undervoltage, huh? That's interesting, I never would have guessed! How does undervoltage affect the brakes like that? I am wondering if I should get some metal brakes...

Well, think of your car's electric system as a nervous system. When things aren't getting enough juice, the sensors that control the ABS and braking distribution can act funky. I'd advise getting it checked at a workshop. I ended up paying around 240€ for the repair.

Thanks a lot for the info! I had it checked, and you were right, it was an electrical issue causing the problem with the brakes. They fixed it, and the pedal feels normal again. I really appreciate the help!

Hey, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. The brake pedal felt weird, almost like stepping on gravel. It turned out to be caused by undervoltage in the vehicle. Could it be the same?
