Thanks for the quick reply! I did check the fuses, and they all seem fine. Where exactly should I be looking for these wiring harnesses and connectors? Is it something I can easily access myself?

Given that you have already verified the integrity of the fuses, and the issue persists, it is likely that the problem lies within the wiring or a component of the central locking mechanism itself. Based on the information provided, namely the error code and symptoms, a defective cable or plug connection is the likely cause. While it may be tempting to attempt a self-repair, without specialized diagnostic equipment, pinpointing the precise location of the fault can be challenging. I suggest you take your Peugeot 307 to a qualified workshop for further diagnosis.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a local garage, and you were right – it was a faulty connector. They replaced it, and the central locking is working perfectly again. The repair cost me 95€. Thanks again for your help!

Greetings. The symptoms you describe are indicative of a potential fault within the central locking system. Considering the error code and the complete failure of the system, I would suggest a systematic examination of the wiring harness and associated connectors. Have you by any chance checked the fuse box to see if the fuse associated with the central locking system might have blown? This is a relatively simple check that might save you a trip to a workshop.
