Peugeot 307 Climate Control Failure

Climate control panel on my 2009 Peugeot 307 diesel has stopped working. There's a stored error, insufficient heating, and the AC won't engage. I suspect a defective cable or plug affecting the power supply. Has anyone had similar HVAC electronic faults, maybe with the blower motor?

Hey! I had something similar happen in my 307, though mine's a bit older. Check the fuses first – sounds obvious, but it's an easy check. My climate control went nuts after a dodgy power surge. Also, have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery? Sometimes that resets things. Worth a shot before ripping the dash apart.

Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate the fuse and battery reset suggestion. Could you say which specific fuses you checked, and did the battery reset need any system recalibration afterwards? I want to try all easy options before doing more.

Honestly, I just checked all the fuses in the box under the steering wheel! One was blown, replaced it and boom! Re the battery, nothing special, just disconnected it for like 10 mins. If that doesnt work, I would just go to the workshop!

Thanks for the help. I checked the fuses carefully but they were all good. But your experience made me get professional help. The workshop found a faulty connection and fixed it for 95€. The climate control now works perfectly. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
