Peugeot 307 DPF Issue

My 2009 Peugeot 307 diesel is showing some worrying signs. It's done 90205 km. I've noticed a significant reduction in engine power, and it's blowing smoke when I accelerate. Could this be a defective DPF?

I had similar symptoms with my 307. How's your fuel efficiency? DPF backpressure might be the cause.

Fuel efficiency has definitely decreased. How did you confirm the DPF backpressure?

The reduced fuel efficiency and smoke are classic DPF issues. I recommend checking the exhaust system and taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose the DPF properly.

Thanks. Workshop confirmed it was the DPF. Repair cost was 1550€. At least it's sorted.
