Peugeot 307 Fuel Level Sensor Issue

Alright guys, need some help. My 2008 Peugeot 307 (gasoline engine) is acting up. The check engine light is on, and it sometimes stalls when idling, plus there's an error code stored. Mileage is 71918 km. I'm suspecting the fuel level sensor. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my 307. Symptoms sound very familiar. Did you check the fuse for the fuel pump and sensor?

Good call! Where exactly is that fuse located? And do you remember if your fuel gauge was also acting weird?

Yes, the fuel gauge was erratic too. The fuse box should be in the engine compartment. However, I'd recommend getting it checked by a workshop. It could be a faulty sensor itself.

Thanks a lot! Turns out it was indeed the fuel level sensor, and a defective fuse. Replaced both. Total cost was 52€. Runs like a champ now!
