Peugeot 307 Keyless Entry Fault

Experiencing keyless access issues on my 2001 Peugeot 307 diesel. Error memory indicates a fault, suspecting a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone encountered similar sensor issues with the car door electrics or door mechanism? Thinking it might be the door actuator.

Hey! I had something like that on my 307. Keyless entry went bonkers. I kept thinking something was wrong with my car door because that's where the sensor is. Is it just the driver's side?

It's just the driver's side door. Were your symptoms identical – keyless entry failing completely and an error code being stored? How was the electric door problem resolved?

Yep, pretty much exactly the same. Drove me nuts for a while! Honestly, after messing about a bit, I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it quicker than I could have, probably the best solution for you as well.

Appreciate the confirmation and advice. A workshop visit it is, then! Hopefully it won't break the bank... but at least it's a starting point. For anyone who finds this through searching, it ended up costing 95€. The issue was indeed a faulty plug connection within the door mechanism.
