Fuses are good. Any specific control unit known to be problematic? Any further advice? Trying to avoid a hefty bill, but I fear I'm out of my depth here.

Yeah, that's what I thought. When the fuses are fine, it usually points to a deeper problem within the MOST bus itself. I had to take mine to a workshop; they pinpointed a faulty module. Honestly, with the complexity of the MOST system, it's usually best left to the pros. It's like trying to rewire your entire home electrical system without knowing where the circuit breaker is.

I appreciate your input and confirming my suspicions. Seems a workshop visit is inevitable. Estimated repair cost is around 1000€, which stings, but at least I have a better understanding of the issue now.

I had something similar in my 308. No sound, nav dead, the whole shebang. Sounds like a MOST bus issue for sure. Did you try checking the fuses first? Sometimes it's the simple things, like a blown fuse taking down the whole network. Think of it as a single loose wire shorting out the Christmas tree lights.
