I don't have an OBD2 scanner. Where are the wiring harness and connectors located, and how do I check them without causing damage? I'm not very experienced with car electrical systems.

Without the error code, it's harder to diagnose. Given the complexity, it's best to consult a technician. A bad cable or plug could be the cause, but it needs special tools and expertise. A workshop visit might be necessary.

Thanks for the advice. I've booked an appointment with a technician to diagnose and repair the central locking system. The repair ultimately cost 95€.

Sounds like an issue with the central locking system. Getting the error code with an OBD2 scanner would help pinpoint the problem. Have you checked the wiring harness and connectors for the door lock actuators? A loose connection could cause this.
