Peugeot 308 Electric Battery Issues

Alright, I'm pulling my hair out here! My 2023 Peugeot 308 (electric engine, naturally) is giving me fits. Just hit 156149 km. The battery seems totally knackered when starting, and the lights are flickering like a disco. I've checked the obvious stuff, like connections, but no dice. Could it be a bad battery sensor throwing everything off?

I had similar symptoms with my Volvo, although it was an older petrol model. The battery voltage was fluctuating wildly. Have you run any vehicle diagnostics to check the battery health or measured the battery voltage directly?

I haven't dug that deep yet, tbh. What were the voltage readings like on your Volvo when it was acting up? And what did it end up being?

The voltage was all over the place, sometimes dropping below 12V even when 'charged.' My indy diagnosed a faulty battery sensor. I would strongly suggest having your Peugeot's battery sensor inspected at a workshop.

Cheers. I took it to a local shop, and you nailed it! The battery sensor was toast. Quoted me 315€ for the repair. Thanks for the help!
