Peugeot 308 Electric Steering Column Adjustment Issue

I own a Peugeot 308, 2023 hybrid. I'm experiencing a problem with the electric steering column adjustment. The error memory has stored an error, and the steering column can no longer be adjusted electrically. The mileage is 136907 km. Has anyone encountered a similar adjustment issue?

I had a similar problem with my 308. An error stored in the error memory prevented electrical adjustment. Did you check the cable and plug connections? A defective cable or plug might be the cause. This falls under mechanical fault.

Access is somewhat restricted without proper tools. Given the electronic steering involved, I recommend a workshop visit to avoid further complications. A damaged steering column can be dangerous. My visit cost me 95€ It's a steering column adjustment issue.

Thank you for the information. I took your advice and visited a workshop. The defective cable/plug connection was indeed the cause. The electronic steering is now working correctly. The final repair cost was 95€.
