Peugeot 308 Electric Steering Problems

My 2023 Peugeot 308 electric is acting up. Almost at 200k km and the steering is all over the place. Feels like the power steering is failing, with increased effort and bad vibrations. Could the steering angle sensor be the problem? Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds rough. I had similar issues with my old Renault Megane, though it was petrol. The steering felt heavy and shaky. Have you checked the wheel alignment? Maybe alignment problems are messing with the traction control?

Wheel alignment, huh? Interesting thought. It did take a beating on some country roads. But would that really explain the vibrating steering wheel? Is there a sensor I should check first?

The shaking was the worst for me. It turned out the coding on the steering angle sensor was faulty. You'll probably need a workshop. They can sort the wheel alignment at the same time, hopefully.

Workshop it is. They think the steering angle sensor is faulty, coding issue, just like you said. Quoted me 195€. Hopefully that fixes it. Thanks for the help!
