Peugeot 308 Fog Sensor AC Issues

I'm having a weird issue with my 2023 Peugeot 308 (electric engine). I've got 226937 km on it. I'm getting a fog sensor error stored in the error memory. Also, the AC won't switch on, the spray nozzles are frozen when it's cold, and the mirror heating isn't working. I'm thinking it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds familiar! I have a 308 too. Is your climate control also acting up? I had similar problems with the AC and the mirror heating, and it turned out to be related to the fog sensor. Are you getting any dashboard warnings?

Yes, the climate control seems to be linked. I suspected as much. Dashboard is clear, though. What exactly was the issue with your fog sensor? Was it a simple fix, or did you have to replace the whole thing?

I didn't replace the sensor. The garage diagnosed it as a faulty connection to the sensor. They said it was causing all sorts of weird stuff with the AC and heating. If you are getting errors, I'd recommend getting it checked out by a workshop. It should be a quick job.

Thanks for the info! I had the car checked. It was indeed a defective cable connection, like the error suggested. Cost me 95€ to fix, including a check and sensor calibration. All sorted now!
