Peugeot 308 GPS antenna defective error
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Peugeot 308 hybrid is experiencing a persistent 'GPS antenna defective' error, resulting in no GPS reception. The issue is likely due to a defective GPS antenna, which is typically integrated with the shark fin antenna on the roof. Checking the antenna connection is suggested, but if the connection is secure, replacing the antenna at a workshop is recommended.

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't had anything done to the roof recently. Where exactly is the GPS antenna located? I'd like to check the connection myself before taking it in.

Okay, if nothing's been touched, a loose connection is less probable. On the 308, the GPS antenna is usually integrated with the shark fin antenna on the roof. Given the error message and no reception, and that you are quite sure that the connection is ok, it points to a defective antenna. To replace the antenna you should go to a workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the confirmation. I suspected as much. I'll book it in. Looks like about 200€ for the repair. Cheers!

Hey! That's a bummer. It does sound like the GPS antenna itself. Have you checked the connection to the antenna? Sometimes they can come loose, though on a 2022 car, that seems less likely. Any recent work done on the roof or around the antenna area?
