Yes, it seemed unusually high, even when the engine was cold. Did you ever manage to properly fix the issue? Or did you just get used to it?

Nah, I definitely got it fixed. Turned out to be a defective intake air temperature sensor, just like you suspect. Cost me around 155€ to get sorted at the local garage. Save yourself the headache, go to the workshop!

Thanks for the advice! That's exactly what I needed to hear to stop researching the topic by myself. I'll take it to a workshop and have the intake air temperature sensor replaced. Apparently that part costs 30€. Let's hope it fixes the problem!

Hey, that sounds familiar! I've got a Peugeot 308 too, and I had similar issues a while back. Reduced power and the check engine light were driving me nuts. Was the temperature reading way off when you checked it?
