Peugeot 308 Infotainment Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Peugeot 308 owner is experiencing issues with the infotainment system, specifically with smartphone connectivity and an error message indicating a fault. The problem may be due to a software glitch in the Bluetooth module. A suggested solution is to check Bluetooth settings and error codes, but ultimately, a visit to a workshop for diagnosis and a system reset resolved the issue.

Yeah, I made sure Bluetooth was enabled. The error message doesn't give a specific code, just says there's a problem with connecting external devices. Did your error message show the same thing?

Yes, that sounds very familiar. In my case, the issue was related to a software glitch in the infotainment system's Bluetooth module. I tried some basic troubleshooting, but eventually, I had to take it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed and fixed. It might be the easiest way to get it fixed.

Thanks for the insight! Sounds like I'm heading to the shop. Turns out it was a simple case of incorrect pairing with my phone, and they just had to reset the system. Cost me 45€. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my 308. Have you checked the Bluetooth settings on both your phone and the car's system to ensure they are discoverable? Also, does the error message provide any specific codes or descriptions that might point to the source of the problem?
