Thanks for the advice! I'll check the fuses. For the wiring harness, is there a specific area under the seat that is more prone to damage? Where is the ground connection for the seat usually located?

Pay attention to areas where the wires might rub against the seat frame or the car's floor. The ground connection is typically bolted to the car's chassis under the seat; you'll probably see a black wire connected to the metal frame. If nothing is obviously broken, I'd take it to a workshop, given the ECU error.

Thanks! I checked the fuses and wiring, but everything seemed fine. I took it to a workshop. The battery was defective, causing the seat motor to malfunction. After the battery replacement and error reset, it works. The repair cost 290€.

Sounds frustrating, especially with electric seats being usually reliable. A weak battery is possible. Have you checked the seat's fuse? Also, is there any damage to the wiring harness under the seat? What about the ground connection for the seat? A loose ground can cause electrical problems.
