That's interesting! When you say similar predicament, was it definitely the pressure sensor that fixed it for your Volvo? And did you experience any other weird symptoms?

Indeed, after a thorough diagnostic procedure, it was determined that the fuel pressure sensor was the culprit. Replacing the sensor rectified the aforementioned issues. While the Volvo V60 and the Peugeot 308 are distinct vehicles, the symptoms are congruent. I must strongly advise you to seek professional consultation and allow a qualified technician to perform a comprehensive examination of your Peugeot. It is my professional opinion that this is an area requiring the expertize and technical skills of a mechanic.

Thanks for the insight! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I took it to my local shop and, yep, faulty rail pressure sensor. New sensor fitted and all seems good now. Cost me about 240€ all in.

Good day! I am sorry to hear you are experiencing these issues. While I am not intimately familiar with the Peugeot 308, I encountered a remarkably similar predicament with my previous vehicle, a 2012 Volvo V60. The symptoms you describe mirror my own experience with a faulty fuel pressure sensor. The check engine light, the engine stalling, and the power reduction all point to a fuel delivery problem.
