Thanks for the quick reply! That's good to know. I'll check the oil level, but where exactly is the gearbox oil reservoir located, and what kind of oil do I need to top it up with?

I'm afraid I don't know the exact location of the reservoir on your specific engine, sorry. And the oil type is very specific. Best bet is to take it to a workshop. They'll be able to pinpoint the issue and top up the oil correctly. If the level's fine, then it probably is the sensor, and they can replace that too.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on – the gearbox oil was really low. They topped it up, reset the sensor, and everything seems to be running smoothly now. The final bill was 365€.

I had a similar issue with my 308. Same symptoms: warning lights, rough shifting, the whole shebang. The diagnostic pointed to the same sensor. Check your gearbox oil level. A low oil level can trigger that sensor fault and cause all sorts of shifting problems. It's a simple check you can do yourself.
