Peugeot 308 Turn Signal Issue

I'm getting seriously annoyed! My 2021 Peugeot 308 hybrid has a dodgy turn signal. The dashboard keeps flashing an error, and it says there's a fault in the lighting. The error memory also has a code stored. Any ideas? It's done 140400 km. I've checked the bulb, and it looks fine.

Indicator light problems can be tricky. When you say the 'dashboard keeps flashing an error', is that a specific error code? And does the signal lamp actually light up at all, even dimly? Sometimes it's not the bulb itself, but a faulty flasher relay (the part that makes the light blink) or even a bad earth connection.

No specific code, just a generic 'lighting fault' message. The signal lamp doesn't light up at all, completely dead. Where exactly is the flasher relay located? Is that something I could check myself?

Okay, a completely dead signal lamp points away from a simple bulb issue. While it could be the flasher relay, on a 2021 model, it's more likely a defective cable or plug connection to the lamp unit itself. Given the symptoms and the car's age, it might be best to have a workshop take a look. They'll have the diagnostic tools to pinpoint the exact problem quickly and safely.

Thanks! Took it to a local garage, and you were spot on. It was a corroded connector. They cleaned it up and replaced a short section of cable. Cost me 95€. Appreciate the help!
