Peugeot 4007 Air Suspension Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Peugeot 4007 experienced issues with its air suspension not lifting, leaning, and displaying system errors, along with misaligned low beams and a warning light. The problem was traced to a defective cable connection to the air suspension compressor, a common failure point that can cause these symptoms. Repairing the connection resolved the issues, restoring the system's functionality.

Where is that cable and plug connection located? And were the symptoms exactly the same, especially the headlight issue? Just want to be sure before I dig in.

Yes, the symptoms were exactly as you describe, including the headlight issue, which is a direct result of the vehicle not maintaining ride height. The compressor connector is usually near the compressor, often in the rear, maybe near the axle. Given the complexity and error messages, I'd get professional help to diagnose it properly. Better safe than sorry with suspension.

I took it to a shop as you suggested. They found a defective cable connection to the air suspension compressor, just like you said. The repair was 95€. The system is working now. Thanks for the help!

I had similar issues with my 4007. Check the cable and plug connections to the air suspension compressor. A bad connection there can cause those symptoms. Corrosion or a loose connection can lead to compressor failure, resulting in error messages and ride height problems. It's a common failure point.
