MOST bus fault, huh? Sounds nasty! Nah, haven't touched the audio or nav system since I bought the car. So, if it's a dodgy control unit messing things up, how would I even figure out which one's the culprit without ripping the whole dashboard apart? Is there some magic trick to pinpoint the problem?

Diagnosing a MOST bus fault requires a systematic approach using specialized diagnostic equipment capable of reading data transmitted via the automotive protocol. As the MOST bus connects multiple control units, a fault in one unit can disrupt the entire system. Therefore, a proper diagnostic scan can identify the specific control unit causing the communication breakdown. Unfortunately, without the appropriate tools and expertise, pinpointing the faulty unit can be exceptionally challenging. I would advise taking your Peugeot 4007 to a qualified workshop for professional diagnostics and repair.

Okay, sounds like I'm out of my depth here. A trip to the shop it is then. Thanks for the clarification; I appreciate you confirming my suspicions. Turns out it was indeed a faulty control unit on the MOST bus; cost me 1000€ to fix, but at least the tunes are back. Cheers!

Based on your description, it appears you're experiencing a MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport) bus fault. The symptoms you've described: audio system failure, navigation malfunction, and stored error codes, strongly suggest a disruption in the data communication between the control units on the MOST bus. Have you recently made any modifications to the audio or navigation system?
