Peugeot 4007 climate control issue
Summary of the thread
The climate control panel on a 2012 Peugeot 4007 diesel is malfunctioning, with errors in memory, low heating output, and a non-functional AC. A potential cause could be faulty cable and plug connections to the climate control unit, as these are common sources of electronic faults. It is recommended to have a professional workshop diagnose and repair the issue, as it may involve tight spaces and specific components like the blower motor and its fuse.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly should I be looking for these cable and plug connections? And how would I check the blower motor? Is there a fuse for that or something?

The connections are behind the central console where the climate control unit is mounted, but it's a tight space. As for the blower motor, yes, there is a dedicated fuse, but since you have multiple symptoms I would strongly suggest going to a workshop instead of trying to fix it yourself. I had a similar experience, and it ended up being a faulty connector. Cost me around 100€ for diagnostics and repair.

Okay, thanks. Sounds like it's best left to the professionals. I'll book it in for a checkup. They quoted 95€. Hopefully, it's just the cable or plug connection like you said.

I had a similar issue with my 4007. Check the cable and plug connections to the climate control unit. Those are often the source of electronic faults. Is your blower motor working correctly, or is it intermittent?
