Peugeot 4007 cruise control failure

My 2008 Peugeot 4007 diesel's cruise control stopped working at 100598 km. There's an error stored, but the cruise control is unresponsive. I've checked the brake light switch, throttle position sensor, and fuses, but everything seems fine. Could it be a defective pedal switch or a faulty connection?

I had a similar issue on my Peugeot 4007. I remember reading that a defective cable or plug connection can cause this.

Thanks! Which cable or plug connection were you referring to? Was it near the cruise control stalk or closer to the engine compartment?

It was a pain to locate. I gave up trying to resolve it myself and took it to a workshop. They located the issue and fixed it for 95€. I recommend you do the same.
