Peugeot 4007 electric seat issue

That's interesting, I hadn't thought of the battery. It hasn't been replaced recently, so it's quite old. But wouldn't other electrical systems be affected too, and not just the passenger seat? Is it really likely to be a battery issue? I thought seat switch or seat motor...

Yes, other systems can be affected, but in my experience, the power seats seem to be particularly sensitive to low voltage. When my battery was on its way out, that was the first thing to go. Just something to consider checking before chasing seat wiring gremlins. If it's not the battery, take it to the workshop.

Thanks for that suggestion! It did turn out to be the battery! It was heavily discharged. After replacing it, the seat worked immediately. The repair cost was 290€, as the battery wasn't cheap, but cheaper than changing the seat I guess!

I had something similar with my 4007. Have you checked your battery? A heavily discharged or defective battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical problems with the power seats. Is the battery original, or has it been replaced recently?
