The key fob seems to be working fine for everything else. I haven't tried the physical key in the door lock though, I'll give that a shot. Did you also notice any other functions being unavailable when you had this issue?

Yes, I did notice some other functions acting strangely. Honestly, I fiddled with it for a while and then just gave up and took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Sounds like I'm heading for a similar fate. My local mechanic says the linkage was defective, which matches my suspicion. Repair cost me 210€.

I had a similar problem with my 4007. The fuel filler flap wouldn't open. Is your key fob working correctly? Have you tried using the physical key in the door lock to see if that makes any difference?
