Peugeot 4007 Gear Selector Problems

I've got a 2010 Peugeot 4007, gasoline engine, sitting at 134977 km. Been having a weird issue lately. Getting an error stored in the memory, gear selection display in the speedometer is useless, cruise control is a no-go, and sometimes it just plain won't start. Dug around a bit and it's pointing towards a bad clutch pedal switch, maybe a dodgy cable or plug. Anyone else seen this gremlin? What gives?

Sounds familiar! I've got a 4007 too, and I had similar issues a while back. Was your gear selector also going nuts? Like showing the wrong gear or nothing at all?

Exactly! The gear selector display is completely blank most of the time. Sometimes it flickers, showing random gears. Was it definitely the clutch pedal switch in your case? And did you notice any other weird symptoms?

Yep, pretty much the same deal. Blank display, occasional flickering. In my case, everything pointed to the clutch switch. Honestly, I'd suggest getting it checked out at a workshop. Could save you a lot of headaches.
