Peugeot 4007 parking assist failure
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Peugeot 4007 is experiencing a parking assist fault, with an error displayed on the dashboard and stored in the memory. Despite the sensors appearing fine, the issue may be due to a defective cable or plug connection to one of the sensors, a common problem. It is suggested to have the vehicle checked by professionals, as it could be a quick and relatively inexpensive fix.

Thanks. I don't recall anything specific. It just stopped working. What was the fix for you?

It was a defective cable or plug connection to one of the sensors. Apparently, it's common. I'd recommend getting it checked by professionals. Best case, it's a quick fix like mine. I paid 95€ at the workshop.

Appreciate the insight! I'll take it to a workshop and have them check the cable and plug connections. Hopefully, that's the issue and the cost will be similar. Thanks!

I also drive a Peugeot 4007 and had something similar happen. My parking sensors went haywire, also indicating a fault. I couldn't see any problems with the sensors either. Did anything happen before the error occurred?
