Peugeot 4007 remote lock and start issue

Having an issue with my 2012 Peugeot 4007 gasoline. Odometer at 165134 km. Getting an error code, and the unlock/lock isn't working. Engine only starts with the key in the ignition. Thinking it might be a bad cable or plug to the bumper antenna. Anyone seen this before?

Hey, I have a 4007 too, and that sounds familiar. Is the error message at all related to the comfort system or keyless entry module? I had something similar, and it was a faulty antenna amplifier. Might be worth a look!

Sure. I scanned the car and got error codes pointing to the comfort system and immobilizer, which made me think antenna amplifier. I checked the wiring first, but then I took it to a shop. They said the amplifier was bad and replaced the bumper antenna, amplifier included. Saved me a lot of trouble. I'd suggest doing the same.
