Peugeot 4007 rough running and stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Peugeot 4007 with a gasoline engine is experiencing rough running, stalling at idle, and a constant check engine light, along with jerking during acceleration. The initial suspicion is a faulty ignition coil, cable, or spark plug. After replacing the defective ignition coil, cable, and plug, the issues were resolved.

Thanks. I haven't checked the spark plugs yet. The check engine light is constantly on. Could you elaborate on your experience? Was the ignition coil the problem?

Constant illumination is less urgent than flashing, but still needs fixing. In my case, the garage said it was a faulty ignition coil. Apparently, the connection was corroded. It might be worth having a workshop take a look. Could save you headaches.

I appreciate your assistance. A defective ignition coil was identified. After replacing it, along with its cable and plug, the problems seem to be resolved. The total repair cost was 95€.

Interesting. I had similar symptoms with my 4007: rough running, stalling, the whole shebang. Have you checked your spark plugs? Are they in good condition? From my experience, it might not be the ignition coil itself but something related. Is the check engine light flashing or constant?
