Peugeot 4008 Battery Sensor Issue

My 2016 Peugeot 4008 (gasoline engine) has a weak battery when starting, and the lights flicker. It has 257635 km. I've tested the battery and think the sensor might be faulty. Has anyone had similar problems?

I had very similar issues with my 4008. Weak starts and flickering lights point to low voltage. Have you checked the battery charge? It could be the sensor, or something else draining the battery.

The battery charge seems adequate, but the sensor readings are erratic. What was your experience with the battery sensor? Did you replace it?

Yes, the workshop diagnosed a defective battery sensor. It caused inaccurate readings, leading to insufficient charging. Replacing the sensor resolved the issues entirely. It's worth getting it checked professionally.
