Thanks for the quick reply! No warning lights are showing up on the dashboard, which is strange. Is the steering angle sensor difficult to replace, and would a faulty sensor cause the vibrating steering wheel as well?

No warning lights makes it a bit more odd, but doesn't rule out the sensor. The vibrating steering wheel is likely connected, as the sensor provides input to the power steering system and stability control. I wouldn't attempt a replacement yourself; it often requires recalibration afterwards. Coding of the sensor might be the issue. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed and potentially recalibrated or replaced. Could save you money in the long run.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. It was the steering angle sensor. The mechanic said the coding was faulty. They replaced it and recalibrated everything. The final bill was 195€. Steering is perfect now!

I had a similar problem with my 4008. The symptoms you describe point towards the steering angle sensor. Have you had any warning lights on the dashboard?
