Thanks for the quick response. The air filter was recently replaced. Is there a specific area on the intake manifold where these leaks typically occur? Were your symptoms similar?

Yes, the symptoms were almost identical. The rough running and stalling were particularly noticeable. In my case, the leak was around where the manifold connects to the engine block, due to a scorched gasket. Given the symptoms and mileage, I'd advise getting it checked by a qualified mechanic to save guesswork and potential damage. I had to replace the intake manifold completely.

I appreciate the advice. I took the car to a trusted workshop, and they confirmed the intake manifold was defective due to scorching and a gasket leak. The repair cost came to 1180€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I had similar symptoms with my Peugeot 4008. Does it feel like it's struggling to breathe when you accelerate? It could be a gasket leak in the intake manifold, causing scorching. Check the manifold for cracks or damage. How old is your air filter?
