Peugeot 4008 parking sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Peugeot 4008 diesel has a parking sensor fault, suspected to be caused by a cable or plug issue. A similar problem was resolved by checking for loose or corroded connections, particularly on the rear sensors. It is advised to inspect the sensors for damage or loose connections, but due to the system's sensitivity, consulting a professional is recommended.

Thanks. Which specific connections did you inspect or which sensors were problematic?

Didn't want to mess with it too much, systems are sensitive. Gave the sensors a quick look for damage. Workshop found a corroded connector on a rear sensor. Maybe see a professional if you're not comfortable. My bill was 95€, parts and labor.

Appreciate the advice. Given the system's sensitivity, I'll take it to a workshop. Thanks for the cost info, that's helpful.

I had something similar on my 4008. Sensors went haywire, beeping constantly. Faulty connection to a rear sensor. Like a loose wire. Check the sensors for damage or loose connections before digging deeper.
