Interesting! No, I haven't noticed any performance issues at high speeds, it's more noticeable at lower speeds and when starting. What did it end up being for you? Did you have to replace the whole throttle body or just a sensor?

Okay, if it's mainly at lower speeds and starting, it REALLY sounds like the same issue I had. I was pulling my hair out! After a lot of diagnostics, it turned out to be the accelerator pedal module. Basically, the signal it sends to the engine throttle was all messed up, causing the control valve to malfunction and affect the air intake. I strongly recommend you get it checked out by a workshop because fiddling with those things can be really complex, and you don’t want to make it worse.

Thanks a lot for the insight! I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on – it was the accelerator pedal module! They replaced it, and the total cost was around 205€. Fuel efficiency is back to normal, and it starts like a charm now. Appreciate the help!

Oh, your story sounds REALLY familiar! I had almost the EXACT same symptoms in my 4008, the fuel consumption was atrocious! It also struggled to start sometimes, especially when it was cold. Did you notice any difference in performance at high speeds, or any weird behavior when you release the accelerator?
