Peugeot 4008 preheating lamp error

I had something similar happen on my 4008 diesel. Is it running rough, like a slight engine misfire, especially when it's cold? Could be a dodgy glow plug alright, causing incomplete combustion. Does the engine light come on as well?

I tried checking the plugs myself, but quickly realised it was beyond my limited skills. Ended up taking it to a workshop; they confirmed it was a faulty glow plug. Best to get it sorted professionally before it causes more issues, like damaging the diesel particulate filter. It's a pain, but worth it in the long run.

Sounds like I'm heading to the workshop then. They quoted me around 440€ for the repair, which stings, but at least I know what to expect. Appreciate the help!
