Peugeot 406 Coolant Loss

Hey, I've got a 2002 Peugeot 406 with a gasoline engine, and the coolant level keeps dropping. The check engine light comes on and error memory stores the low coolant error. Anyone else had this issue? Mileage is around 289869 km.

I had a similar problem with my 406. Is your engine overheating? Also, have you checked for any visible coolant leaks around the radiator, hoses, or water pump?

No overheating so far, and the cooling fan works. Head gasket seems fine too. Where exactly was the leak in yours?

My Peugeot had a very small coolant leak that was hard to find. If you can't find a leak, I would advise you to get it checked out by a professional.

Cheers. Dropped it at the workshop; they found a leak from a hose. Replaced it, all good now; cost me 52€. Thanks for your help!
