Peugeot 406 power window initialization issue

I had a similar issue with my 406 after battery work. It seems like the window regulators need to be re-initialized. Have you tried the reset procedure? Switch fully up, hold for a few seconds, then fully down, hold again?

Yeah, tried that already. Up, hold, down, hold... Nothing. Tried it on all doors. Is there a specific trick to it maybe?

It's a known problem, yet the suggested procedure usually works. If the recalibration doesn't take, there could be an underlying issue with the regulator itself and you might want to check it out in a workshop. My issue sorted out itself after visiting the workshop and costing me around 290€.
