Peugeot 406 tire pressure error
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Peugeot 406 displayed a persistent 'tire pressure too low' error despite all tires being properly inflated. The issue was suspected to be a faulty tire pressure sensor, possibly due to a dead battery after extensive use. After attempts to reset the TPMS failed, the problem was confirmed by a workshop to be a dead sensor battery, which was resolved by fitting a new sensor.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Yeah, I tried resetting it a couple of times, but the error comes back almost immediately. Did yours eventually turn out to be a sensor issue then?

Yup, eventually it was the sensor. The battery probably died. Honestly, after the reset didn't work, I just took it to a workshop. They confirmed it pretty quickly. It's probably worth getting it checked out properly rather than chasing ghosts.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – dead sensor battery. New sensor fitted, cost me around 280€, and the error is gone. Appreciate the help!

Hmm, sounds familiar. I had something similar happen with my old Opel Astra. Kept getting low tire warnings even though the pressure was fine. Did you try resetting the TPMS? Sometimes that helps, but in my case, it was a temporary fix at best.
