Peugeot 407 AC failure

My 2007 Peugeot 407, gasoline engine, with 116592 km is having A/C issues. It was intermittent, now it's dead. Fuses are fine, climate control panel lights up, but no cold air. OBD reader shows undervoltage. Pressure sensor or refrigerant leak?

I had a similar problem with my 407. The AC just quit. Have you checked the pressure switch? Mine was faulty, causing the compressor to shut off. It could also be a leak, but the switch is a common failure point.

Where is the pressure switch located? Did your OBD reader also show undervoltage, or a specific error code related to the pressure switch? Trying to avoid replacing parts, but this lack of A/C is driving me crazy!

I'm not sure about the undervoltage. I didn't check it myself. I didn't replace the pressure switch myself either. I took the car to a workshop because I was too annoyed. They diagnosed it fast and fixed it. I recommend that. It could save you time.

Turns out you were right! A local shop confirmed it was a faulty pressure switch combined with a low refrigerant level due to a tiny leak. Cost me 240€, but at least I have A/C again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
