Thanks for the tip! Good shout about the loom, I'll check that first thing tomorrow. The security system light seems normal, no flashing or anything unusual. As for the fuses, I checked the one specifically labelled 'central locking'. Are there others I should be looking at?

Yeah, there might be others. Honestly, I spent ages fiddling with mine before I gave up and took it to a workshop. Turned out to be a faulty actuator and a broken wire in the door. Cost about 100€ all in, including labour. Save yourself the headache and get it looked at by a pro.

Cheers, I appreciate the advice. I suspected it might be more complicated than just a fuse. Looks like I'm booking it in then. At least I have a better idea of what to expect. They quoted 95€, which sounds reasonable based on your experience. Thanks again!

I had something similar on my Peugeot 407. Is the security system light behaving normally? When mine went haywire, the door locks just went completely dead. Check the wiring loom where it enters the door - they're notorious for breaking wires there. Did you check all the fuses related to the central locking, or just the main one?
