Thanks for the quick response! I did a quick scan and it points to the interior temperature sensor. I'm wondering if it could be a simple fix, like a loose connection, or if the sensor is actually faulty. Where exactly is the sensor located in the 407?

Okay, since you already have a diagnostics check, I'd say inspect the sensor's wiring and connector first. It's often a corroded pin or chafed wire. But honestly, chasing those gremlins can be a pain. I ended up just taking mine to a reputable workshop. They confirmed the sensor and quoted me 95€ for the repair. Might be worth the peace of mind!

Thanks, that's really helpful! I'll check the wiring, but I think I'll follow your advice and get it checked out by a workshop. Sounds like it might save me some time and frustration. They also suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Much appreciated!

Yep, sounds familiar! I had almost the same thing happen in my 407. The HVAC system went haywire. Have you had a diagnostics check done to confirm the sensor itself is the culprit? Any other weird electrical gremlins popping up?
