Hey, thanks for the quick response! I knew I could count on this forum. Regarding the error codes, I have to check my documentation first. But, I'm wondering, is there a way to fix this myself? Like, could I just re-flash the control unit, or is this something only a professional can handle?

While theoretically a control unit re-flash might resolve the issue, it is inadvisable to undertake this procedure without the requisite expertise and diagnostic tools. A corrupted or incorrectly applied software could render the control unit inoperable, potentially exacerbating the problem and incurring significant additional costs. I recommend taking your vehicle to an authorized Peugeot service center to investigate the problem, who will have the official software and specialized diagnostics equipment.

Ok, thanks for the insights. I had a sinking feeling it was going to come to that. Looks like I'll be booking an appointment with the shop, unfortunately. The mechanic has confirmed the faulty software and quoted 240€ for the fix. Thank you for the advice!

Based on the described symptoms and the diagnostic report indicating a potentially flawed control unit program, it appears you are encountering a software-related fault affecting multiple vehicle systems. It is crucial to ascertain the specific error codes stored in the error memory to further pinpoint the affected control module. In cases where a control unit's programming is implausible, it frequently manifests as a cascade of electrical malfunctions. Could you provide the specific error codes?
